Beautiful Mermaid pyrography wooden plaque by YANKA-arts-n-crafts Beautiful Mermaid pyrography wooden plaque by YANKA-arts-n-crafts
Beautiful mermaid lying on a sea bed among sea shells and fish. She looks calm and relaxed and happy, and I hope that it will make you happy too.

Delicate pyrography artwork that will add a special accent to your home.

The design for this plaque was taken from Dover coloring book “Mythical Mermaids” (created by Marty Noble) and transferred to thick plywood plaque by means of pyrography (woodburning).

Size: 11.6 x 8 x 0.27 inch (29.5 x 20.5 x 0.7 cm)

These are brilliant! You have a great sense of composition. My eye flows happily through your work instead of focusing on one spot. I'm a fine art framer and hard to impress, I've seen so much. I rarely comment and not usually into mermaids. But, this is beautiful and fantastic! TY so much for doing you talent. We need more artists and I think some children grow up never knowing they are an artist. I want to change that :) A crayon in every hand! Anyway, I ramble. Have you ever done molding? Find a raw molding wholesaler and get some unfinished picture frame molding and design your own moldings! I do my own finishes. Minwax furniture wax finishes wood beautifully to a satin sheen, to give the frames a finished look. Just wanted to suggest it. I imagined a mermaid frame. Sometimes I like to continue the art onto the frame, like it's gone off page. I could see a frame with all the little flowers from the Lady and Unicorn background. I want to learn this skill now :) Again, thx for sharing. You're wonderful!
